Created from what was an original photograph that I vectorized, this design is a clean and contrasted piece housing detail within simplicity. A submission for the 2012 Core 77 Design Awards (www.core77designawards.com) hopefully this ‘DIY’ categorized design can stand some ground among it’s competitors. Whether or not it makes it anywhere I am happy with the outcome, as it’s original intent was created for my father as a gift, him being the subject in the design. This design was a process in which I have not ventured into very much; vector work. But I feel this piece obtains many great vector and design qualities, giving it a well balanced blend of layout and contrast.
